Details of Our Project

Project Description: After listening to the story , "The Jolly Postman or Other People’s Letters" by Allan and Janet Ahlberg, students will respond to the literature by doing one of the following:

  1. Create an illustration of a favorite Nursery Rhyme or Fairy Tale Character and write a letter (postcard, greeting card) ~to~ himorher or ~as~ himorher.
  2. e.g. Dear Goldilocks, It was not nice of you to go into someone else’s house when they were not at home. Your friend, Johnny

    Dear Goldilocks, I was very sad that you broke my little chair. Signed Baby Bear

  3. Create an illustration of a favorite Nursery Rhyme or Fairy Tale Character and write a 5 W’s Poem about him or her. (5 W’s = Who, What, When, Where, Why)
