Flag Day 2000
at
Tecler School

Last June 14th at Tecler School, we celebrated Flag Day.  The Mayor and many veterans were invited.  The Color Guard carried the flags.  They were Boy Scouts and Air National Guard members attending our Flag Day ceremony.  The flag was raised and we said the Pledge of Allegiance.  Each grade sang a patriotic song.  Some 5th graders told about the history of the flag, and how to take care of the flag.  The program ended with a gun salute.
