                                                        All About Mammals  

    Some animals belong to the mammal group.  All mammals have hair or fur.  The hair helps them to keep warm.  All mammals are born alive.  The babies drink milk from their mother.  Mother mammals take care of their babies.  All mammals breathe air with their lungs.

    Mammals are different in some ways.  They eat different foods.  Some mammals are plant eaters while others are meat eaters.  Raccons are both plant and meat eaters.  Lions eat only meat and rabbits eat only plants.
