It includes links to dictionaries, thesauri, biographies, calendars, maps, quotations, online almanacs, weather, and more. A few of the links are available to U. Albany students, but most items are available to everyone. A good place to start to do Internet research.
www.eblast.comThe online version of the Encyclopedia Britannica. Provides links to helpful web sites on a variety of topics as well as the online version of Encyclopedia Britannica. Includes feature articles pertaining to current events news stories.
www.biography.comThe online version of the popular TV shows. Search a database of over 40,000 names to retrieve biographical information. Also includes a schedule of Biography programs and provides a "Whose birthday do you share?" feature.
