The Task

To complete this WebQuest, you will work individually to:

research, both manually and electronically, a technological inventor of your choice,

compile specific information about that inventor and his or her invention,

ultimately complete a 10-slide PowerPoint Presentation from the research (very specific guidelines are provided for the information that should be included on each slide).

Also, you will work in a small group to:

invent a product to improve a specific area (i.e. a product to make household chores easier). You will not only have to build a model of your invention, but also, persuade the rest of the students in the class to believe that your group’s invention is the best. They’ll be in other small groups creating inventions of their own.
