• Draw a self-portrait.
• Make an "All About Me" book.
• Create a paper mache’ globe painting green for land and blue for water.
• Look at pictures of people that have different cultures, customs and beliefs. Discuss the differences and similarities.
• Draw pictures of their family. Note how each family is unique.
• Sing a song "Who are the People in Your Neighborhood?’(Sesame Street).
• Students make up class rules and jobs.
• Map their neighborhood or the school’s neighborhood by using milk cartons as houses.
