In this session, participants will be immersed in a text set focused on diversity and inclusion. Through the inquiry cycle,
teachers will engage as learners in carefully curated text sets that guide them through a deeper understanding of a theme.
Presenters will deconstruct the learning cycle so that teachers can see the pedagogical moves and functions that allowed for
deeper understanding, engagement, and creation of schema and background knowledge. This session experience will
engage participants in a text set that explores the need for acceptance and benefits of diversity.
