2021 NYS Assessment Information for Students in Grades 3-8

New York State Testing for students in grades 3-8 is coming up.  We are required to administer only Session 1 of ELA, math and science exams.

The assessments must be administered to any students who attend in-person including hybrid students and those who attend a learning pod.   More information here regarding students who attend in person, including the testing schedule.

Since all state assessments must be administered on-site, in-person, students who attend school all remotely/virtually are not required to take the assessments.  Parents of virtual students, however, can opt for their child to participate by completing an online form by April 19.   More information here regarding virtual students including testing schedule.
