Letter to Parents Grades K-3

Re: Accessing Seesaw Virtual Learning (K-3)

Dear Parents, Guardians & Caregivers:

We are so excited to welcome you to the 2020-2021 school year!

In an effort to ensure all families are ready to access classes virtually (learning from home), we wanted to provide clear guidance. All Kindergarten through Grade 3 students should be logging onto app.seesaw.me (see below) to participate in virtual learning lessons with teachers each school day.

Just a friendly reminder:

The school day for all hybrid & fully virtual students (K-3) begins at 8:00 am each day.

All hybrid students (K-3) will be dismissed at 11:45 am to return home for lunch each day and prepare to resume classes virtually later in the afternoon.

Classes resume virtually at home for all students (K-3) at 1:00 pm each day.

All virtual classes at home end at 2:25 pm

Save the Date! Parent Professional Development Sessions will be taking place on Wednesday, September 16th and Wednesday, September 23rd at 6:30pm. More information to come.

Directions - How to log into Seesaw:

1) Go to app.seesaw.me

2) Select “I’m a Student”

3)  Use the ‘Sign in with Google’ tab - NOT the school email

4) If there is a choice, choose your student’s APPS account

*** Please do not use @gmail.com or another personal email account****

5) Use the Join Code your student’s teacher provided

Teachers are calling home or emailing you if they can’t get you by phone.

6) Enter student’s class

We look forward to seeing all of our students both in-person and online when school reopens on Monday, September 14, 2020!
