How Does My Student Access Their Google Account?
Student Google account usernames consist of a combination of his or her lunch ID number and are followed with "@apps.schenectady.k12.ny.us" For example, if the student's lunch ID number is 12345678, the Google account username would be 12345678@apps.schenectady.k12.ny.us
If your student does not know his or her password or if they have not logged into their account before, please follow these steps to request a Google password reset for students.
1. Make contact with your school:
a. You can contact your child's teacher and she/he can reset your students' password.
b. Submit a Let's Talk to the Technology group:

c. Contact the district directly at 518-881-3976. Due to potential call volumes, you may not get through to a staff member on the first try but do keep trying.
2. Sign into the Chromebook:
