2017 School Board Election Information

Are you interested in running for school board?
Three Board of Education seats are up for election on May 16, 2017. Each of the seats is for a three-year term.
In order to get on the ballot, a person must:
Reside in the school district for at least one year immediately preceding the election. Please complete the residency affadavit.
Certify that he or she is a qualified voter.
Not be an employee of the Schenectady City School District.
Present at least 100 legible signatures.
Nominating Petition: You can download the nominating petition here or pick it up from Martha Morris, Clerk of the Board, Monday-Friday between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. in the Central Office located at 108 Education Drive (in the rear of Mont Pleasant Middle School).
