Richards, SHS Class of '08
Named Volleyball Rookie of the Week at Union for the Second Time
 Congratulations
to 2008 Schenectady High School graduate Eve
Richards who was one of two Union College volleyball players to
receive the Liberty League Volleyball Award this week.
Richards, an
outside hitter and junior setter Jennifer Merinder were honored
for the second time this season. Merinder was named the Performer
of the Week for the second straight week, while Richards was
the Co-Rookie of the Week for the second time in three
weeks. She shared the honor this week with Nyasha
Miller of St. Lawrence.
Richards helped
the Dutchwomen win the Union Invitation Championship with a team
high 34 kills, 21 digs and 6 blocks last weekend.
The Union
College Volleyball Team is undefeated at 12 - 0.
