Yates Positive Behavior Intervention and Support (PBIS) committee sponsored a  celebration on Monday, February  22^nd which included a team of special guests ...  The Union College Women's Ice Hockey Team.

The college team played floor hockey against Melissa Hindes' 6^th grade class in the school gymnasium. All of the students who demonstrated positive behavior for the months of January and February were invited to  attend the  game.

Many of the Yates kids wore their yellow PBIS shirts which they earned by getting ten positive behavior referrals.

Thanks to Ali Boe, the assistant women's ice hockey coach and the Union College team for an afternoon of fun.
