Yates First
Graders Get Creative with "Frog and Toad"
 The
three classes of first graders at Yates Arts in Education Magnet
School performed a Reader's Theater version of "Frog and Toad"
by Arnold Lobel on April 29. Each class worked on a
different "Frog and Toad" play while studying frogs and toads in
science.
 The
students put all of their creative energy to work as they
created posters, costumes and sets for the stage. They
also made charts and diagrams for the science bulletin boards.
The performance was
enjoyed by parents, students and staff.
