Students Celebrate
Dr. Seuss
Yates Magnet
School celebrated Dr. Seuss's birthday and Read Across America
recently. On March 2, National Read Across America Day, at
10:45 am, the students and teachers throughout the entire school
stopped what they were doing and instead turned to a Dr. Seuss
story. The students then recited the Reader's Oath
and were awarded with a certificate. Laura Salisbury,
librarian teacher, dressed up as Dr. Seuss. "We had a lot of
fun," she said.
