This
week is "No Complaint Week" at Yates. Every person
in the school is wearing a purple "no complaint
bracelet." Anyone who complains has to take the
bracelet off. Those who are still wearing their
bracelet at the end of the week will be receive a
summer treat.

Grader Adrianna Austin named "Kid of
the Week"
When Yates 6th grader Adrianna Austin cut 12
inches of her hair off to donate to Locks of
Love, she was doing it to help out kids who
have lost their hair. Now, Adrianna is being
recognized for her generosity and has been
named a "Kid of the Week" by B95.5,
Capital News 9 and the Times Union.

in grades 3-5 at Yates were treated to a performance of "Little
Red's Most Unusual Day" - an operative version of the Little Red
Riding Hood tale with a twist - by the traveling Lake George
Opera-to-Go program.

Union College. For the last three years students at Yates have taken
part in the event, which is a fund-raiser held by
