Student
finished elementary school
with 7 years of perfect attendance
Na'thaniel
Jones just graduated from 6th grade at Woodlawn Elementary
School. Throughout those seven years of school, Jones
has not missed a single day of school.
Principal Barbara
Coffey said not many students can boast perfect attendance for
one year. "Seven years, all of his years at Woodlawn, that's
pretty special," said Coffey.
Jones shared his
tips for staying healthy and making it to school each day.
These include eating healthy, going to bed early, waking up in a
good mood and being ready for the day. He said that he
just started practicing these behaviors and they became habits.
Jones will be
attending Oneida Middle School in the fall. He plans to
continue his healthy habits and perfect attendance record.
Coffey said she
wishes all students would develop these habits and an excellent
commitment to education.
