First
graders visit with firemen
The first graders at Keane Elementary learned what it's like
to be a fireman when they visited Schenectady fire station #2
recently. The students learned that the firefighters live
at the firehouse and even have their own kitchen.
Firefighter Jim gave the group some lessons on
 how
to stay safe. He told the students "to not hide but get
outside." He also said, "stay down low and go."
