Keane
Elementary School is looking for volunteers to read on Read
Across America Day
Those who are six, sixteen, sixty-four, and
more have all kinds of great events in store for the
National Education Association's fourteenth annual
observance of NEA's Read Across America. NEA is calling
America's children, both young and old, to reward their
learning by celebrating the joys of reading on Dr.
Seuss's birthday. Readers of all ages are encouraged to
celebrate!
William
C. Keane Elementary School will hold their 3rd
annual celebration on Friday, March 2, 2012. The
school is looking for volunteers who would be willing to
read Dr. Seuss stories to a class at Keane. If you have an
interest in reading, please contact Dana DeMarco at
demarcod@schenectady.k12.ny.us The festivities
begin at 2 p.m. and will last about an hour.
Please consider volunteering to read at this
wonderful event.
