I'm Old!
Walter is a
retired grandfather whose wife has died and is living with his
son Felix, daughter-in-law, Katherine, and their child, Scott.
Walter goes about his daily business as usual while Katherine
believes that Walter is unable to take care of himself and
needs to be placed into assisted living. Felix, who is at
first unwilling to move his father out of the house, is
finally persuaded by his wife to make the arrangements with
Golden Years Retirement Center. Once finally moved in, Walter
is shown the ropes by another elderly man, Oscar. He meets the
overenthusiastic staff, and an eclectic group of elderly
women, all of whom push Walter's limits.
Sidewalk
The film focuses
on a street corner that features a series of performers and
the four sidewalks that lead up to this corner. On each
sidewalk is a different character walking towards the corner,
and varied cinematic styles are presented. The characters
must deal with numerous events on the sidewalks, while
maintaining their personal objectives. One walker is a
businessman; another is a jogger, and the third, a delivery
person. The final walker is a performer heading towards the
corner to show her talent. She is yearning for acceptance and
shows a great deal of determination.
Tales of a
Bus Ride
Three people
riding the bus share stories about the adventurous, cynical,
and comical aspects of love. Spencer, confident but young, is
intrigued by Patrice, an older woman who sees Spencer as the
fifteen-year old freshman he is. Spencer tries to impress
Patrice with a heroic “love conquers all” story, and she
retorts with her own dramatic tale that contradicts his
entirely. This battle is interrupted by Millie, a whimsical,
slightly intoxicated woman with her own comical farce.

order to understand the man behind the theatre. Proctor’s
Theatre is a precious gem in Schenectady’s rich history, and
this documentary will serve to exemplify its greatness, as
well as how it continues to expand and evolve its repertoire
