Butzel Gallery

Welcome to the Butzel Gallery

The Butzel Gallery is a unique teaching space within the John Sayles School of Fine Arts at Schenectady High School.  Through the generous continuing support of Miriam Butzel and The Butzel Family Foundation the gallery has evolved as an integral part of the visual arts program at the SSFA.  Gallery exhibits include the work of faculty and visiting artists, regional competitions and the work of graduating fine arts seniors each year.  Students have opportunities to interact with outstanding local, national and regional artists through experiences such as exhibit installation, gallery management, lectures and hands-on art experiences.
