SHS Students
Participate in Science Bowl Competition
Five Schenectady
High School students participated in the Science Bowl
Competition at GE last month.
The nationwide academic competition tests students' knowledge in
all areas of science including chemistry, biology, earth
science, math, physics, astronomy and general science. Students
are quizzed in a fast paced question and answer format similar
to that of Jeopardy.
Congratulations to
Joshua Fields, Adam MciLrevy, Gabe Viscariello, Dan Bellick and
Kumar Singh.
"The students
played really well and represented our school in a positive
way," said coach Agnes Phillips.
Schenectady
defeated two teams in the event.
The Science Bowl
is sponsored by the Department of Energy.
