Information & Application
Applications must be submitted by May 31.  Lottery drawing will take place June 7, 2013.

Please Note:
Students who are enrolled in a Schenectady Universal Pre-K Program for the rest of the school year will automatically be registered for Kindergarten.

If your child will be 5 years old by December 1, 2013, you can register him or her now for Kindergarten.

  • Registration takes place at the SCSD Family Welcome Center
    at Ellis Hospital, 600 McClellan Street - Office Hours 8 a.m. - 4 p.m.

Requirements for Registration

  • Child must be 5 years old by December 1, 2013.
     
  • When registering, please bring the following documents:

Child's birth certificate

Most recent immunization record

Copy of child's physical (must be within one year)
Physical Exam Form

Proof of Residency
Dated within past 30 days) such as utility, phone or cable bill, payroll stub, lease agreement from MHA or real estate company.

Parent Photo ID
