Students entering grades 3-6 are invited to participate in
the 16-day AIS Summer Reading and Math Academy which
will be held at Woodlawn Elementary School July 12 - August
5.
The Academy will run
Monday through Thursday
from 8:45 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Students will work on
developing English language, reading, math and study skills
during the morning. They will work on youth
development and leadership activities in the afternoon.
The afternoon session is coordinated by Boys and Girls, Inc.
and the school district.
Cost
The program is free.
Transportation
Students will be provided
with transportation. You will receive a letter with
bus information before the the program begins.
Breakfast and Lunch
Students will be served breakfast and lunch each day.
Participants are welcome to bring their own healthy snacks.
