PDExpress Instructions:
After
logging in, you will be prompted to fill in your school email
address.
The next
thing you should do is to click on the
My Pages
icon at the top of the page, under your name. This will take you
to a drop down menu. Click on the word profile. This will take
you to your profile page.
After completing your profile, you can go to the icon
Courses. A
drop down menu will appear. You can view all of the courses and
projects to date by clicking on the
Course Catalog
drop. To view a particular course, click on the ID
number to the left of the title. This will take you to all of
the information. There will be another set of directions to
register and navigate through the catalog.
Once you register for a course you can
view the registration by going to the My Pages icon and click on
Courses. This will show which course you are registered. You can
also withdraw from the course by clicking on the red
X sheet of paper
to the
left of the course title.
If you wish to
propose a course/project, go to the icon
Courses. A
drop down menu will appear. Click on the
Propose a Course
option. You will be taken to a proposal form. All
required fields have a dot after them and you must fill them in
thoroughly. You will receive confirmation of approval, or
if more information is necessary, or if the proposal has been
denied once the Curriculum Coordination Council has met to
review all newly submitted proposals.
Please
note that once you begin to enter information into the proposal
form there is NOT a way to save and come back to it- therefore
it must all be done in one sitting. One option is to type all of
the necessary information in a Word document and copy and paste
into the required proposal fields. Here are the required fields
that may need time to fill in for the proposals:
Description
Goals
Outcomes
Standards
Key Ideas
Student
Performance Indicators
You will find many exciting course options in the course
catalog. Courses are filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
So, sign-up quickly and get ready for a great learning
opportunity!
