Use of Physical Restraint
....
Teachers, administrators, and
other district employees, or agents
of a school district shall only use
reasonable physical force when
alternative procedures and methods
cannot reasonably be employed.
Physical restraint will only be
used:
-
To
protect oneself from physical
injury;
-
To
protect another student or teacher
or any person from physical
injury;
-
To
protect the property of the school
or others; or
-
To
restrain or remove student
whose behavior is interfering with
the safe and orderly operations of
the school district.
