Parents, teachers and students showed up in their
pajamas to Paige Elementary School on November 18
for a fun-filled evening of reading and writing.
The
evening, sponsored by the school's Parent
Partnership Team and PTO, included a "Favorite Book"
door contest in which each classroom decorated their
doors with a theme of a book they read in class.
The decorated doors were judged by the students and
parents.
The
students and their families also enjoyed stops at
Passport Literacy Stations. These included
activities like story time with a guest reader,
making bookmarks, writing letters, parent resources
for helping their children and meeting with the
school librarian.
