Graders "Make a Difference"
|
Across the nation,
millions of Americans cleared their calendars to
make way for USA Weekend Magazine’s "Make a
Difference Day" on October 22. This day
inspired many people to do selfless acts to help
others in their neighborhood and community.
Students and teachers
from Paige Elementary School thought it would be a
great opportunity to include the 5th
graders in this endeavor. On Tuesday, October 25,
students from Charlene Carter’s, Kim Oleksiak’s and
Amy Polito’s 5th grade classes raked the
grounds of Paige School to be a part of Make a
Difference Day! |

|
|
They raked a total of 45 bags of leaves. These
students learned a valuable lesson: It doesn’t
matter how old you are, everyone can make a
difference! |
