In 2012, the U.S. Department of Education granted the New York State Education Department a waiver from  specific provisions of No Child Left Behind (also known as ESEA).  One of the primary focuses of the waiver is to create a new, common and robust school and district visit process that compares school and district practices to the the optimal conditions of learning as defined by the DTSDE rubric.   

The follwoing surveys were administered as part of the DTSDE review process.
