Students
make bowls for community fundraising project
Twenty-five
students from the 5th and 6th grade Zoller Elementary School art
club, art teacher Cori Ripley and twelve 1st graders from Fulton
Early Childhood Education Center and teacher Cindy Turgeon made
clay
bowls
for a charity event held in late April at the GE Theater at
Proctors. The event was held to raise money for the
Bethesda House and City Mission in Schenectady.
The bowls, up
for grabs in a silent auction, raised about $200. Some
bowls, after bidding war, went for $20 each.
