Teachers participate in 5k Run to support literacy education

Three Schenectady teachers laced up their sneakers and participated in a 5K Literacy Run in Troy recently.  Caitlin Carney, Kimberly Garrity and Laura Neri, all teachers at Howe Early Childhood Education Center, joined more than 300 local runners and walkers for the event which is held each year to raise money for adult, family and children's literacy in the Eastern NY Capital District.
