NASA Mars Phoenix Mission

6th Graders enjoy
a NASA Mars Phoenix Mission presentation by Edward Lee  in early June.

Central Park Middle School of the Schenectady City School District is honored to be named the first NASA Explorer School in New York State. 

This partnership with NASA offers many many new teaching and learning opportunities to Central Park students and teachers with exciting programs and special events for parents and the Schenectady community.

The
students  have access to an array of resources and experts including Aerospace Education Specialists from Goddard Space Flight Center.

Central Park is among a select group of schools participating in a special NASA Student Experiment Mission, in commemoration of the Columbia Shuttle, that will rendezvous with the International Space Station.
