On January 7, 2005, students from Central Park Middle School connected with an astronaut and a cosmonaut aboard the International Space Station via video downlink.  The satellite downlink lasted twenty minutes.

Students asked questions of the Space Station's Expedition 10 crew, Commander Leroy Chiao and Flight Engineer Salizhan Saripov.

Central Park NASA Explorer School is the only school in New York scheduled to talk with Expedition 10 crew members during the 2004-2005 school year.    PHOTOS
