. . . .The next student experiment will be launched to the International Space Station from Wallops Flight Facility sometime in November.  Students will study the effects of microgravity on common vegetable seeds such as peas, beans, pumpkin, squash and cucumber.

. . . .Students from Miss Hartkern's period 3 class participated in a videoconference on October 17 with Johnson Space Center and scientists aboard two research ships in the Pacific Ocean studying the ocean floor and applying the lessons learned to short and long-term Lunar/mars missions. 

. . . .Mrs. Moore and the Explorer School students explored the overview and the hydrothermal vents & Black Smokers section.

. . . .Explorer Club students, with Mrs. Fretto, have been learning about the Wright Brothers.  This is the centennial celebration of the historic Wright Brother's flight in Kitty Hawk, a flight that lasted 12 seconds and changed the world.
