Mont Pleasant teacher recognized for excellence
Sarah Johnson named Promising New Professional

Congratulations to Sarah Johnson, Family and Consumer Sciences teacher at Mont Pleasant Middle School who was named “Promising New Professional on October 22 by the New York State Association of Family and Consumer Sciences (NYSAFCSE). 

The award is presented each year to a NYSAFCS member who has demonstrated excellence in the classroom and has less than eight years of teaching experience.  Candidates for the award are nominated by NYSAFCSE members.  The winner is selected by the NSAFCSE board.
