Mont Pleasant Student Council holds penny drive,
collects nearly $400 for APF

The Mont Pleasant Middle School Student Council raised 39,500 pennies for a total of $395 for the Animal Protective Foundation during the "November Penny Harvest."  A representative from the APF visited Mont Pleasant to thank the students for their hard work and donation.  Jennifer Newton, world language teacher at the school, is the faculty advisor for the group.
