Lincoln Holds
Family Pajama Reading Night
Evening loaded with reading, activities & fun
The
students, their families and the staff of Lincoln
Elementary School enjoyed a fun evening at the school's Family
Pajama Reading Night on October 28.
The evening
kicked off with some social time. The families and school staff
spent some time mingling and socializing over a delicious pizza
dinner.
Following
dinner, everyone participated in an array of reading activities
in the gymnasium.
Ms. Kaela
Wallman, librarian from the Duanesburg Library Branch led a read
aloud.
The Albany
River Rats, United Way, Schenectady Literacy Task Force, WMHT,
PBS and the Lincoln teachers organized reading stations.
Activities included Reading Bingo, Create-a-Book, Read Aloud
with Mrs. Cole and so much more.
Thanks to the
generosity of the Schenectady Literacy Task Force and United
Way, every student took home a free book.
It didn't take long for everyone to figure out that learning can
be fun.
Pajama
Reading Night was co-sponsored by Lincoln's Parent Partnership
Team (PPT) and Parent
Teacher Organization (PTO).
