 The
First 8th Grade Class Graduated from King
Congratulations
to the 29 eighth graders who graduated from King Magnet School
on June 23. This year's group is the first class of
graduating 8th graders as King expanded to become a K-8
school just last fall. Twelve of the 29 students who
graduated were on the school's honor roll.
 WNYT
news anchor Elaine Houston was keynote speaker for the
celebration. Former superintendent Eric Ely, Theresa
Robert and Netanya Frasier all served as guest speakers.
The Dr. Martin
Luther King Jr. Award was presented to Theresa Robert.
