Privacy and security are important to everyone.  The Schenectady City School District staff is committed to respecting and protecting your privacy as a user of the Home Access Center.  We will only collect, store and use the guardian data and/or student data accessed through the Home Access Center for school district purposes.

Security
Parents/guardians have a responsibility to ensure that the username and password provided for accessing the Home Access Center is kept secure at all times.

If a parent/guardian believes that their password has been compromised, the student, parent or guardian is responsible for changing the password. 

Your password can be changed online by clicking on My Profile in the Home Access Center, or by calling or emailing Cathy O'Brien at 370-8100 X-126 or obrienc@schenectady.k12.ny.us.

Disclaimer
Using the Home Access Center information is not a replacement for checking-in and talking with your child about assignments and grades.  If you feel your child may be having difficulty in school, please contact his or her teacher or counselor to discuss proactive strategies so we can ensure that all of our students are equipped with the tools and have the support they need to be successful.
