Hamilton
Science Night
Educational and Loads of Fun
About 100
students and their families attended the Hamilton Elementary
School Science Night on March 19. The students and parents
participated in an array of entertaining and interesting
activities. Representatives from the Mont Pleasant Branch
Library were also on hand with experiments for all.
Guests enjoyed
a pizza dinner. Brownies, cookies and cakes were sold at
the bake sale.
Everyone had an
opportunity to win prizes, all donated by Hamilton parents.
The night was
not complete until the students did the egg-drop, an annual
event at science night. According to Kacy Daus, fourth
grade teacher at Hamilton, the rules were a little different
than past years. "The students had to make their contraptions at
home," she said. "The new rules definitely triggered some
unique and well thought out devices."
