Chef Finalists Selected
Cook-off set for February 9
The finalists for the 2011 Future Chefs Healthy Snack
Competition have been selected. The following students
are invited to participate in the cook off that will be held on
February 9 at Schenectady High School.

The competition, open to fifth graders and designed to educate
students about healthy eating habits, called for favorite
after-school snack recipes.
The judging was based on healthiness of foods, simplicity of
preparation, kid friendliness, judges choice and presentation.
The nomination committee sampled and judged 92 recipe
submissions and selected 12 for the final competition.
All finalists receive a chef coat and hat.
