Education Foundation announces changes
More funding available, applications due in Fall
The Schenectady
City School District Education Foundation announced that the
amount of grant money available for 2012-2013 has increased to
$15,000, that is a $5,000 increase. The increase is
possible because of many generous donations and those who are
donating through payroll deductions. Thank you.
Over the last
six year, the foundation has been awarding grants in two cycles.
In 2012-2013, the group will run only a single cycles. The
due date for applications will be in early November. This
will allow staff members to have more time to plan and implement
activities. Please make a note of this change so that you
can think about your projects over the summer and be ready to
apply in the fall.
Look for notice
in October regarding the 2012-2013 grant cycle.
