Schenectady Moonlight Serenade
Students showcase talent

More than 180 Schenectady senior citizens enjoyed dinner, dancing and entertainment at the  the Schenectady City School District 9^th Annual Moonlight Serenade Dinner Dance held March 16. 

Each year the school district hosts the event which also showcases some of the programs and talents of Schenectady students. 

Joe DiCaprio served as the master of ceremonies.  Laura Macey and the Career Center at Steinmetz Culinary students worked with Scott Stowell and Sodexo Food Service to prepare and serve the dinner. 

Special thank you to Stowell and Sodexo Food Service who after the event announced that the company would not be billing the district but instead donated their cost.
