Emergency Management Plan Drill
"Go Home
Early Drill"
Friday, November 9, 2007
On Friday,
November 9, 2007, the Schenectady City School District will
be conducting a "Go Home Early Drill," in which all students
will be dismissed from school 15 minutes early.
The annual drill, required by the Commissioner of Education, is
to test the effectiveness of the transportation and
communication systems in the event of an emergency. The
drill will be observed by all New York State public schools.
Students will not be allowed to re-enter the building once they
leave. There will be no after school activities.
