Available for SCSD Athletic Hall of Fame Dinner
Tickets are
available for the 13th annual Schenectady City School
District Athletic Hall of Fame and Reunion Dinner which will
take place on Monday, September 13, 2010 at Proctor’s
Theatre in Schenectady.
Ray Trail
(Mont Pleasant HS), a two-time national champion cross- country
runner, who also set a world record in the scholastic mile, and
Warren Crow
(Linton HS), an All American wrestler at Albany State who won
two national championships, are the 2010 inductees.
A special
Legacy
Tribute will honor three undefeated teams on the fiftieth
anniversary of their outstanding seasons. They are the 1959-60
Linton basketball team (with All American Barry Kramer), the
1960 Linton golf team (NYS champions) and the 1960 Mont Pleasant
baseball team (with future Baltimore Oriole Ed Barnowski).
Bill
Arsenault, a local sportswriter from 1959 to 2001, will be
the featured speaker. Tickets cost $45. Contact Bob Pezzano at
