Families of all different
heritages came together to celebrate International Night
at Elmer Avenue Elementary School recently. The
students, their families and school staff enjoyed
dishes from many countries including Mexico, Gayana,
Italy, and America. The children drew pictures of their
families and wrote about their traditions. They also
created posters that showed how to say "Hello" in all different
languages. "It was really nice to get together
over something we all have in common: Eating," said art
teacher Robyn Cross.
