Be sure your car seat is safe
Child Car Seat Program
City of Schenectady residents can have child car seat
installations checked or new seats provided free of charge by
contacting the Schenectady Police Traffic Division at 382-5211
X-5304 during normal business hours.
All checks are
done by appointment only. Child car seat check-ups are
usually done on Tuesdays between 3 - 7 pm at Fire Station #1 on
Veeder Avenue.
