After School Program
The After
School Program located at 700 Craig Street at Carver Community
Center is offered to children 5 - 12 years of age.
The program
provides children with a safe and loving environment and offers
many fun creative activities that will help stimulate and
enhance social and emotional growth as well as physical
well-being.
The Carver After School Program is open
Monday - Friday
7 a.m. - 6 p.m.
Children receive a light breakfast and afternoon snack.
The children are accompanied to school at 8:15 a.m. by day care
staff and picked up when school is dismissed at 3:30 p.m.
The after school program offers children:

access to the
Latimer Education program, a service that provides homework
assistance.

access to the
gym where many fun yet structured group games take place.

opportunities
to participate in an array of activities such as drama club,
photography, arts and crafts and more.

cooking
classes
-
sewing classes
-
science fun
-
presentations
from guest visitors
-
demonstrations
Registration
Registration is ongoing. Enrollment forms can be
picked up at 700 Craig Street, Schenectady.
