Need to know
your child's homework assignment over the weekend? Want to
check on his attendance records? Looking to see how your
child did on her recent science quiz? All of this
information and more is just a few mouse clicks away for
Schenectady City School District parents and guardians.
The district
now offers a web-based program that allows authorized parents
and guardians to securely access their children's school
information - such as attendance, class schedule, homework,
discipline information and more. It's called the Home
Access Center (HAC) and many parents and guardians are already
using this service. All you need is a computer and
Internet access to log in to HAC.
Parents/guardians must be registered in order to log in to HAC.
To ensure the safety and welfare of our students, we require
in-person registration and a photo ID to assign user names and
passwords for the system. You child's teacher cannot
accept the HAC registration form. It must be returned to
the main office at your child's school, where staff will verify
your photo ID. Once your registration is processed, you
will receive your user name and password via e-mail within a few
days.
For your
convenience, you can register for HAC during Back to School
Night on September 24. Additional evening registration
hours will be held at the district administrative offices at
Mont Pleasant Middle School on the following dates:
Tuesday,
October 7 from 4 - 7 pm
Wednesday, November 12 from 4 - 7 pm
Wednesday, December 10 from 4 - 7 pm
Save time
during registration by filling out the HAC form in advance and
remember to bring your photo ID.
The HAC
registration form can be downloaded
HERE.
