The Academic Achievement Committee will assist the school
district in the implementation of system accountability and
Strategic Plan by:
-
Reviewing the
district instructional and curriculum plan including the
implementation of state standards;
-
Identifying
annual instruction and improvement goals for recommendation
to the school board;
-
Making
recommendations regarding the evaluation process that will
be used to measure school district progress toward its
improvement goals;
-
Monitoring the
district and schools' student achievement levels, especially
as they relate to making Annual Yearly Progress (AYP).
